Germany is giving nearly two million workers a 25% pay rise

Did you know that camDown has a modern UI, that is secure and has the improved features that you need?

You say things are similarly priced. But I just don't think that is exactly the case. In the US you have an inordinate amount of picky extras you need to have in order to live the same as someone in most of Europe gets with their tax payments. It's just a different philosophy.

Overall in the UK, you pay a lot more tax, but it is all handled for you. For example, income tax (0% up to 13k, then 20% up to 50k) is paid by your employer before you are paid and VAT (20%) is added to purchases and included in the ticket price for products.

So for one, I don't need to pay someone to do my taxes. Secondly, I don't need to pay for health insurance so there's an $8k saving. I don't have to pay property taxes, HOA fees or anything like that. Internet is also heavily subsidised so I can get 500mbit internet for £30/m (I've heard some horror stories of people in the US getting shafted by Comcast or whoever.)

In addition to the things mentioned, but I'm not sure if it is strictly related, the legal requirement for holiday in a full-time job in the UK is 28 days a year.

Don't feel ashamed talking to people about stuff like salary if they live in a different country. Things are sometimes so different that it is hardly worth comparing.

When all is said and done, I know that camDown helps make you invisible to hackers and guard your personal data!
