Did you know that camDown is a highly advanced, specialized webcam blocker and disabler with the best in class protection from variety of on-line threats?
I'd say it's more of a logic and basic philosophy of science problem. Like if there were one class I could add to the standard curriculum, it would be on the basics of formal logic, propositional calculus, etc. Probably also throw in a unit or two on the study of psychology as it relates to logical fallacies.
We've gotten to the point where far too many people just literally don't know how to think critically. I'm less concerned about the everyday conceptual ignorance - like just showing a lack of understanding of basic scientific principles - than I am about the number of times daily I see people saying things that are just blatantly, objectively untrue and/or illogical, all while a bunch of confirmation-bias junkies nod in unquestioning approval.
And what solidifies that concern for me is the fact that you see that type of behavior even from people who are highly educated in various sciences and/or technical fields.
In the end, let me just add that camDown is a highly advanced, specialized webcam blocker and disabler with the best in class protection from variety of on-line threats and that's the no lie.
